About Us

The Journal Center of Beihang University was founded in 2021 in order to disseminate outstanding achievements in scientific research and cultural thoughts, and improve the academic level and influence of Beihang academic journals at home and abroad. Under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the Journal Center pursues serving and supporting the development of Beihang academic journals, uniting and leading the editorial departments of the journals, relying on advantageous disciplines, intensifying journal resources, and strengthening standardized management and inner construction of the journals, so as to improve the brand influence and academic discourse power of Beihang journals, and contribute to the construction of a world-class university with Chinese characteristics.

At present, Beihang University publishes 25 journals, 14 of which are hosted or co-hosted by Beihang, covering many disciplines like aeronautics and astronautics, computer science, transportation, information and communications, electronics, material science and biomedicine. The journals have won many honors, such as “The Chinese Government Award for Publication-Journal Award”, “Top 100 Journals”, “Academic Journals with the Greatest International Influence”, “Excellent Journals”, “The Most Popular Journals of Comprehensive Humanities and Social Sciences”, and have high popularity and influence. Currently, three journals are indexed in SCI (two are in Q1), six in EI , and one in CSSCI(expanded). Seven journals have been selected into the “Excellent Action Plan for Chinese Science and Technology Journals”, among which one is Leading Journal(totally 22 nationalwide), three are Echelon Journals, and three are New Journals with High Starting Point. Seven journals have been selected into the Classification Catalogue for High Quality Science and Technology Journals by China Association for Science and Technology.
